Highlights

This is the first undefeated team since they combined all three schools in 1979.Behind a strong effort from the entire team. The Lancers Scored with 35 seconds left to win 16-12. It was one bad thing after another, but the Lancers continued to fight and eventually were able to make the one play they needed to win . The Lancers were just inches away from scoring on long passes 4 times.

Game 6  Lancers win 20-6 Clinch atleast share of first CCC Title

The Lancers will try to finish the season undefeated  when the  Girard Trojans come to town Tuesday Oct 21. B game at 5pm. A game to Follow.

Highlights

The Rams came out ready to roll and controlled the clock and the line of scrimmage. Bryce Burdette Picked off  a pass that ended a Ram threat early in the 3rd quarter. Joseph Smith played outstanding at D-tackle recording 2 sacks. Daniel Peak recorded several tackles for loss. Josh Thompson also had a 45 yard run that he broke tackles that set up the second TD.

The Lancers will finish their season at home with Riverton on Thursday Oct 16  at 6 pm and Girard on Tuesday Oct 21 with the B game at 5pm A game to follow.

 Lancers Defeat Raiders 26-0  Move to 4-0

The Lancers defeated Frontenac 26-0 last night to move to 4-0 and alone in first place.  Next Thursday the Lancers will travel to Baxter Springs, games start at 6pm.

Game 3 Galena vs Southeast. Southeast wins 16-12


Both teams were undefeated. Galena beat Girard 36-6, and Colgan 38-0.
Southeast beat Colgan 36-0 and Northeast 50-0


To start the game Galena kicked off to Southeast. Southeast's first series with the ball Galena intercepted a pass which led to a TD a few plays later by Galena's running back. (lopez)

2nd Quarter no one scored.

2nd half 

SE offensive line dominated  from the get go. Southeast started the second half with the ball on their own  37 line, On third play of the drive running back Josh Thompson ran  for a  43 yard  touchdown run. 2 point conversion was made  by Quintin Tyree. Southeast lead 8-6!

Southeast defensive held the bulldogs on their next drive and took over on their own 30 yard line. 9 plays later Southeast scored  its 2nd touchdown, a 32 yard run by QB Bryce Burdette. Josh Thompson ran in the 2 point conversion. Southeast lead 16-6


In the 4th Quarter Southeast was knocking on the door for their 3rd touchdown but they were held by a tough bulldog defensive. Galena took over on their 10 yard line. They moved the ball  down the field and scored on a 59 yard  touchdown run by running back Lopez with 1:44 left in the game. Two point conversion failed.  Southeast lead 16-12.

Galena then attempt an onside kick, but was unsuccessful and Southeast was  able to run the clock out and win the game 16-12.

Highlights:
With minutes left in the second quarter our QB and team leader, Bryce Burdette was injured and out of the game.

When Burdette left the game, it appeared that Southeast was   in trouble, but Southeast's offensive line stepped up, along with  backup QB Jason Reed. Reed did a great job running the offensive when he was called upon. Burdette returned to the game late in the 3rd quarter.
Southeast played with a lot of heart and emotion.
