Board Meeting Minutes Jan 14, 2010
USD # 247 BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING – January 14, 2010
A special meeting of the USD #247 Board of Education was called to order by President Keith Ritchey at 6:10 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the District Office. Other members present were Greg Hite, Mindy Dainty, Tara Underwood, Jerry Alexander, LaDonna Hartman and Joe Ulery. Also present was Board Clerk Roberta Sellers.
(1) Tara Underwood moved to go into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. Joe Ulery seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
President Ritchey called the meeting back to order.
(2) Mindy Dainty moved to recess the meeting until 6:00 pm Friday, January 15, 2010. Jerry Alexander seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
The meeting reconvened Friday, January 15, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
(3) LaDonna Hartman moved to go into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. Joe Ulery seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
President Ritchey called the meeting back to order at 10:20 pm.
(4) Mindy Dainty moved to recess the meeting until 6:00 pm Monday, January 18, 2010. Tara Underwood seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
The meeting reconvened Monday, January 18, 2010 at 6:00 pm.
(5) Joe Ulery moved to go into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. Jerry Alexander seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
President Ritchey called the meeting back to order.
(6) LaDonna Hartman moved to recess the meeting until 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Tara Underwood seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 Tara Underwood presided in Keith’s absence.
(7) Mindy Dainty moved to go into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. Greg Hite seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
Jerry Alexander arrived.
Vice- President Underwood called the meeting back to order.
(8) Jerry Alexander moved to recess the meeting until 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Joe Ulery seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
Wednesday, January 20, 2010 Tara Underwood presided in Keith’s absence.
(9) Greg Hite moved to go into executive session to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. LaDonna Hartman seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
Jerry Alexander arrived.
Vice- President Underwood called the meeting back to order.
(10) LaDonna Hartman moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:20 pm. Jerry Alexander seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
