Board Meeting Minutes Jan 21, 2010
USD # 247 BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING – January 21, 2010
A special meeting of the USD #247 Board of Education was called to order by President Keith Ritchey at 6:10 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the District Office. Other members present were Greg Hite, Mindy Dainty, Tara Underwood, Jerry Alexander, and LaDonna Hartman. Also present was Board Clerk Roberta Sellers.
(1) Tara Underwood moved to approve the agenda as presented. Jerry Alexander seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
(2) Jerry Alexander moved to go into executive session for 15 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. Greg Hite seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
President Ritchey called the meeting back to order.
(3) Tara Underwood moved to go into executive session for 30 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. Jerry Alexander seconded. Motion carried 6-0.

(4) LaDonna Hartman moved to approve an updated superintendent contract form. (Appendix A) Tara Underwood seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
(5) Jerry Alexander moved to have a special meeting on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at 6:30 pm. Mindy Dainty seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
(6) Greg Hite moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:15 pm. Mindy Dainty seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
