Board Meeting Minutes Jan 26, 2010
USD # 247 BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING – January 26, 2010
A special meeting of the USD #247 Board of Education was called to order by President Keith Ritchey at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the District Office. Other members present were Greg Hite, Mindy Dainty, Tara Underwood, Jerry Alexander, and LaDonna Hartman. Also present was Board Clerk Roberta Sellers.
(1) Mindy Dainty moved to approve the agenda as presented. Greg Hite seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
(2) Jerry Alexander moved to go into executive session for 5 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel regarding the superintendent position. LaDonna Hartman seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
President Ritchey called the meeting back to order.
(3) Tara Underwood moved to offer a superintendent contract to Dr. Glenn Fortmayer for two years. Mindy Dainty seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
(4) Jerry Alexander moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:54 pm. Greg Hite seconded. Motion carried 6-0.
